Day 241 – Student Challenge #2 Recap

So I will be crunching along with a few of my blogging buddies until next Friday. It was so much fun to tabulate the results and crunch away in the classroom right in front of the students. They were so proud of their achievement.  A few called out, “These next four are mine.”  I also received a few critiques about my technique.  It was all in good fun and the grades went up.

Whew I’m glad I’m crunching this week instead of spending time on the elliptical like last week.  Sure dodged a bullet.

  1. 40%? WOW! Haha, these challenges are great! Can I pledge to do 120 crunches/day? I don’t have a ball at home, so that’ll have to do. I might attempt ball crunches at the gym. 🙂

    • But of course. Join in! The kids were excited to hear who was crunching away. I’ll add you to the list.

  2. Ooh, nice work students! I did a lot better on this week’s quiz, too. I’m excited to bust out my 120 crunches/day for the next week. 🙂

    • Thanks for joining in. Crunch away.

  3. Shh…don’t tell Anna, but I’ll join in, too! 120 crunches a day until next Saturday. Fun! And I have to say it again: I love that you can motivate your kids with these challenges. What a great way to help you both out!

    • I won’t tell. I bet they’ll think of a good pledge for the last test of the year.

  4. Congrats to your students for doing such a good job with the answers on the challenge! Ok, I am behind a bit. I did 210 today – of combined crunches. I will catch up tomorrow with the remaining 30 plus another 120. This is just what I need right now!

    • I hope your travels are going well. When we’re busy its nice to have a goal. Crunch away my friend.
