This result is surprising especially after a very thankful Thanksgiving. But I’ll take it and head into the last days of this year with a confident expectancy.

Not a shocker. I told you those “Lost Days” were something else. So I’m expecting a leveling out. I had a Doctors appointment the other day and explained my efforts since September and how I was discouraged to start strong and then fade. She then pointed out that at my last appointment in July I weighed 8 pounds more than I do now. Small victory but not something to celebrate there’s work to done.

I hit a bump in the road this last week. My schedule got the best of me. I got lazy and maybe a little prideful. So it was easy to choose to “sink my battleship” with a Medium French Fries, and an Angus Mushroom & Swiss burger for a grand total of 1700 calories. The best part was that I was able to get my focus back by studying, praying, writing and visiting other successful blogs. As Dave Ramsey would say, “If you want to be successful then mimic successful people. If you want to be healthy then do what healthy people do.”
